Where Nigerian Tradition Meets Modern London.
Halit Kitchen began in 2010 with a simple belief — that the warmth and colour of a Nigerian Sunday lunch should never feel far from home. Fifteen years on, we’re still cooking from scratch, seasoning with the same fierce love, and serving the kind of food that sparks memories at the very first bite.
Every pot of jollof, every hand-rolled puff-puff and every slow-simmered soup is made in our Purley kitchen with care, pride and real Nigerian spice.

Stories from the Table.
“The jollof rice is everything. Smoky, spicy, generous — this is the real deal. We drove 40 minutes for it and we’ll do it again.”
“Catered our engagement for 60 guests. Every plate came back empty. The Edikang Ikong was out of this world.”
“Warm, welcoming and seriously tasty. The Efo Riro with eba takes me straight back to my grandmother’s kitchen in Lagos.”
